Hi! (that’s my new favorite word to say, along with dada and mama)

We had the best Halloween weekend ever, especially since it barely rained on us at all! First we had a Halloween party at our school, during which my big sister paraded me around as her prized animal (I was a giraffe, she was my zookeeper). I didn’t mind though, because I know that any time she gets too touchy feel-y I can just bite her hard and she’ll back right off quick.

Then Friday night we went over to Aunt Maren’s house to carve some pumpkins with our cousins Eva and Elijah. I just loved getting into all their stuff and thought it was pretty funny to watch how Elijah was trying to crawl. Even though he’s way bigger, he can’t move as fast as me!

Saturday Maddy mostly slept, while I refused to, so we didn’t do much, but Sunday morning we went to Howloween at the zoo where I spotted a couple other giraffes and Maddy saw a bear up close. She was in full zookeeper mode there.

Then Sunday afternoon all our cousins came over and we had a fun get-together at our house. The best part of the whole weekend was when we went trick-or-treating on our street. I loved carrying my candy basket and wouldn’t let go of it even though mom and dad kept trying to hold it for me. I also was psyched any time our neighbors let me pick the candy from their bowl, and tried to grab as many pieces as I could.
